CORS Head Start: Empowering Futures, One Child at a Time
Since 1975, the Council on Rural Services (CORS) has been dedicated to becoming the regional leader in providing exceptional preschool education to families in West Central Ohio. With 18 licensed centers led by professional educators, CORS Head Start ensures that every child receives top-tier learning experiences in a safe, nurturing, and child-friendly environment.
Our approach to early childhood education builds on each child's natural curiosity, offering individualized support through the expertise of degreed teachers in every classroom. Valuing the involvement of parents, we create a collaborative environment that nurtures each child's growth and development. Using research-based curricula and providing ongoing developmental assessments throughout the year, we ensure that every child’s educational journey begins on the right path.
Over the years, we've supported more than 30,000 children, helping them discover their unique capabilities and talents. Our mission is to prepare each child for success, starting from their first day of school and continuing through every step of their education. Head Start is open to all families, accepting children from birth to five years old, including those with special needs. We invite you to learn more about our programs and encourage you to visit your local CORS Head Start center to see the impact firsthand.
