Head Start is a free program with enrollment eligibility based on family income and need for services. Applications are accepted for all children; ages birth to 5 years and pregnant moms.
You will be contacted by your local CORS Head Start staff to schedule an appointment to complete an application.
Please bring the following items to your application appointment:
· Documentation of your child’s age: birth certificate, hospital record, Medicaid card.
· Documentation of family income for the prior calendar year, past 12 months, or paystubs for your family’s current employment status.
· Documentation of public assistance currently received by anyone in the family: SNAP, TANF, SSI.
· Documentation of foster or kinship care.
· Up-to-date immunization record for your child.
